(Windows 11) How to Show File Extensions at Windows Explorer

Seeing the file extension is very important in everyday usage of Windows Explorer.

How to set them in Regedit.exe

Go to the following Registry Folder or Key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

Set the Following DWORD to 0

HideFileExt

HideFileExt = 0 (Showing)

HideFileExt = 1 (Hiding)
