BIOS

The basic input/output system configures your motherboard at startup and boots your PC. It is stored on a flash memory chip and keeps its settings in the CMOS. It is a program built into personal computers that starts the operating system when you turn on your computer. It is also referred to as system firmware. BIOS is part of your computer's hardware and is separate from Windows.

How do I access my computer's BIOS?

Procedures vary depending on the BIOS manufacturer. Usually, you must press a key (such as F2, F12, Delete, or Esc) or a key combination immediately after you turn on your computer before Windows starts. For more information, check the information that came with your computer or go to the computer manufacturer's website.


Nervous System

It is the body system that processes information and controls the activities of the body. The central nervous system consist of brain, spinal cord, and spinal nerves which carry messages to and from the spinal cord. Nerves are bundles of fibers that carry messages between brain and other parts of the body.
