Relay - a mechanical switch that is activated upon voltage input (3V to 33V).
From arrl.org, it is a mechanical switching devices that is actuated when sufficient current flows through the field coil, thereby causing the field-winding core to become magnetized. This action moves the pole arm to make and/or break contact with a circuit. Source
