Access the hidden Menu items at Windows 8

Having some problem finding where the control panel is located at Windows 8? How about the Computer Management for disk and network monitoring? How will you access the Device Manager for installation of device drivers and Programs and features for installation and uninstallation of programs?

Here’s a quick tip to access the hidden menu items at Windows 8.

By pressing the key combination Win + X you’ll be able to access the following items as shown below:

Program and Features

You can use Program and Features to uninstall a software if you no longer use the program or if you want to free up space on your hard disk. Also, it can be use to change the configuration by adding or removing certain options.

Mobility Center

The Mobility Center includes the most commonly used settings, such as brightness, volume, power plan, battery status, wireless network status and many more.

Power Options includes different power plans configuration to reduce the amount of power your computer uses, maximize performance or balance the two.
