Android: How to use the 24 Hour format or vice-versa

The term "military time" is usually given or synonym for the 24-hour clock. It is commonly used in areas specialize for military, aviation, astronomy, hospitals and tourism. The 24-hour clock is a convention of time keeping in which the day runs and divided into 24 hours, indicated by the hours from 0 to 23.

Let’s configure android to 24 hour format.

(Quick Tip) How to access and use System Scan through command line

Scan.exe command line tool is an antivirus scanner that provides an alternative way to quickly perform checking for viruses using the command prompt. It is very effective and quick solution for solving problems against viruses and other types of potentially unwanted programs.

Let’s try launching the program and scan your computer using the System login through the Welcome Screen.

Go and Download WinBubble, the program let's you access all the hidden features of the OS easily using its user interface.

Once running, go to the Tips and tricks Tab and at the bottom you’ll see the Ease of Access center button. Click the option and continue by pressing Yes and entering the security password.

You can press Win+L to go to your Welcome Screen or Restart your computer and at the Welcome Screen find the little blue circle button as shown below.

Do not allow websites to get your geographical location

Websites can ask or request your geographical location. It is an estimate based on the nearest known points through access points and ip-addresses. If you don’t want that because of privacy concerns, here’s how to disable and enable tracking of your location based on ip-address and mapping.

Go to your Internet Explorer’s Internet Option and Privacy Tab - press Alt-T and Internet Option Menu located at the bottom part:

Find the location option - “Never allow websites to request your physical location”, Click to checked to disable gathering of your location data and unchecked to enable tracking of your location.

How the feature works?

When you visit a website, The browser will ask you if you want to provide your physical location. If you permit this activity, The browser will gathers information for the nearest access points and IP address. Then it will send the information to the Geolocation server such as Google Location Services to be able to estimate of your location. The resulting location estimate is then given to the requesting website.

 

Mozilla Firefox

Just follow the steps: In the URL bar, type about:config 
There will be a confirmation for the warranty, just neglect and continue. Once the configuration options are displayed - type geo.enabled, double-click the option and make the value disabled -That’s it!

 

How accurate these location finders?

The accuracy of these geolocation services varies greatly from location to location. In some places, it can provide a location within  few meters only. However, in some areas it might be much more than that.
