Saving Youtube Videos without website or Third-Party site

Great news for youtube hackers… Direct Download  *still* works! Mr. aspi33 shared the great trick for us! Amazing crack!

 

We all know that most of the youtube downloaders doesn’t work for several days due to the recent changes at Youtube.com. Several days ago, *we* successfully combined our works and created an all-in-one youtube downloader trick.

I have been reading your blog a tiny bit since KeepVid lost my faith. The Feb 09 codes worked significantly, until April 2 ofcourse. I searched for new codes, and I found/invented/modified one, before you actually (I'm 15 :P). The problem is that this code is better than your code, but it takes more time as I don't know javascripting. So I gotta do it all manually.

So yeah, the get_video still works. Wow you say? No, you knew, since the &fmt=18 still works. But you might say "how?". Well, the greasemonkeys are apparently in front of the javascripters because I found an old greasemonkey script that made me realize how to use the get_video.

I made a small "code" that I use myself when your code is "too new":

http://www.youtube.com/get_video?video_id=*InsertVideoID*&t=*SearchFor&t=InSourceCodeAndCopyEverthingFromThe=ToThe%*=&fmt=*WantedFormat*

I would be very glad if you could help me, and other people, by javascripting this code so it fills in the video_id and &t= automaticly. I know you have the skills to do it :)

Actually the old direct download script in youtube will works like this javascript:window.location.href = 'http://youtube.com/get_video?video_id='  + yt.getConfig('SWF_ARGS')['video_id'] + '&t=' + yt.getConfig('SWF_ARGS')['t'];

I’ve just made it more longer and complicated :) sorry…

Several days ago I already tried this format

I didn’t think or find out adding “=” at the end of trick!
